A select group of Year 9 students participated in the BBC School Report project.

This national project is aimed at getting 11 – 14 year olds involved in making the news. The students developed skills in collaboration, writing, speaking and listening, not to mention gaining confidence in themselves.

On the day they met for a news briefing and then went about gathering their stories, assembling them as they worked towards a strict deadline.

It was an interesting experience for all the students involved who not only worked extremely hard but were able to have fun in the process.
